Collection

L91 Art Foundation maintains a growing private collection of contemporary art. The collection is built gradually and with intention, with a focus on artists whose work engages thoughtfully with form, language, and the conditions of the present.

The collection is not conceived as an archive for display alone. Works are acquired to support exhibitions, research, publications, and collaborations with institutions and curators. Loans from the collection may be made to museums, non-profit organizations, and other partners whose projects align with the foundation’s mission.

L91 is particularly interested in:

The collection is privately held and is not presented as a public online database. Instead, works enter the public realm through carefully selected exhibitions and projects, developed either by L91 or in collaboration with partner institutions.

Requests related to loans or collection-based projects are considered individually, with priority given to proposals that are research-driven, contextually grounded, and consistent with the foundation’s values.
