Programs
L91 Art Foundation supports a range of small-scale educational and cultural programs that extend the life of exhibitions and deepen engagement with contemporary visual culture. These activities are designed to be focused, conversational, and attentive to the needs of artists, curators, and audiences.
Educational Programs
Educational initiatives may include guided visits, study sessions, and other formats that invite close looking and discussion. Programs are often developed in collaboration with partner institutions or in connection with specific exhibitions.
- Tours and guided visits for small groups, emphasizing time with a limited number of works rather than comprehensive walkthroughs.
- Reading groups and seminars that bring together artists, curators, writers, and visitors around texts connected to an exhibition or area of research.
- Workshops and study sessions that provide space for focused inquiry, process sharing, or practical experimentation.
Cultural Programming
Cultural programs create additional contexts for artists and audiences to meet, listen, and exchange ideas. They are selective and occasional, organized when they serve a clear purpose within the life of a project.
- Artist talks and presentations that offer insight into specific bodies of work or long-term practices.
- Panel discussions and roundtables that bring different perspectives into conversation around a shared theme.
- Curator experiments and informal previews that test new formats for showing and thinking with art.
- Small gatherings or previews for partners, collaborators, and communities directly connected to a project.
Programs may take place at partner institutions, in temporary venues, or online, depending on the needs of each project. L91 does not maintain a public events calendar; information about specific programs is usually shared by collaborating organizations or via direct invitations.
